Start of Summer Sale!

Sale
We need to make room for our new summer stock so we’ve marked down select items from Steven Alan, Rittenhouse and Built By Wendy. Spring sweaters, jackets, pants and skirts are 25% off!

New from Steven Alan

It may be rainy outside, but in here we’re surrounding ourselves with summery new linen and cotton numbers from Steven Alan and pretending to be at the beach.  Come join us!

More new stuff from Vancouver

Robin returned to Toronto the other day and brought a bunch of goodies with her!

LIFEwithBIRD has arrived!

Fresh from Australia (where they really know how to dress for summer, even if it is currently fall/winter), a couple of perfect jersey dresses by LIFEwithBIRD.

The Soft as Glass dress in misty grey and white fireworks print:

And A Wandering Kind in stone and sorbet fireworks:

We also have some new Dace shorts, and sandals and belts from Erin Templeton… more posts coming soon, but if you can’t wait then just stop by the shop! We’d love to see you.

New from Alternative Apparel

The wait is finally over: the Alternative Apparel short-sleeved sweatshirts are back in stock!  These super-cozy tops are perfect for the in-between days and nights we keep having, too hot for sweaters but not quite warm enough for t-shirts…

We also have a few more colours in the soft, stretchy gauze tanks: poppy, denim, and eggshell (shown in that order below, and crocheted fingerless gloves not included!).

Almost-summer arrivals

Hmm, the cottage offers haven’t exactly been flooding in, but luckily we’re still willing to help you get ready for your long weekend getaway… don’t you think some new shorts might do the trick?

We have the Steven Alan cuff shorts in navy:

And because that photo doesn’t really do them justice, here they are on an actual human (in a different colour, but you can use  your imagination):

The Dace Wilkinson shorts in chambray are another excellent choice… the buttons have little horses on them!

So now you’re set for bottoms, but what about tops?  Everybody loved the Permanent Vacation flower print this season, and now we have it in a singlet with bustier seaming… hard to see in the photo, so I guess you’ll have to come check it out in person!

Vitamin Daily post

vitamin daily
Gosh, we love it when people say nice things about us!  Especially if they’re able to work in a reference to Pimm’s at the same time – that stuff is just plain delicious.  And that will make no sense until you read what the ladies at Vitamin Daily (an awesome daily newsletter about fashion, beauty, and other good things in Canadian cities) had to say about us today… check it out here!

New Dace top

More new stuff! The Guindon blouse from Dace – pretty perfect for that first weekend at the cottage, wouldn’t you say? Not that we would know about that, unless you want to invite us up there for May 24…

BlogTO review

Sarah from BlogTO stopped by the shop yesterday and has already posted a lovely little review – how efficient is she?! Read it here and give us lots of high ratings and nice comments! (JK, sort of.)

Steven Alan interview on Fashionista

It’s no secret that we’re big Steven Alan fans here at Robber: he makes the best shirts around, and we pretty much wanted every piece of his Spring collection… I mean, just look at this top and skirt (both of which we carry, btw)!

His showroom also helps a ton of other great designers (including one of our faves, Sunshine & Shadow) develop their brands.  Anyway, it turns out the girls at Fashionista like him too, and they just wrote up a nice two-part interview with him that we think you might like. Check it out, and then come see all the awesome Steven Alan stuff we have at the shop!
